I'm a scientist who retired my pipettes for a career in science communications. I have a PhD in biomedical sciences from UCSF. After a short postdoc, I realized that I was more passionate about communicating science to the public, so I pursued a career in science communications. I spent three years at the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and now I work in healthcare communications at a public relations company called Weber Shandwick.

When I am not kicking ass at my job, I chat about scicomm on social media, read science fiction and fantasy novels, and attempt to stay youthful by running and climbing.

I also love networking and meeting new people. Feel free to leave a comment or reach out to me on social media!
